'Ride Along' cruises to top of weekend box office

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- "Ride Along," a comedy starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, was No. 1 at the weekend box office with $41.237 million in receipts.

"Lone Survivor," starring Mark Wahlberg, was second with $23.239 million.

All studio estimates of gross North American box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.

"The Nut Job" was third with $20.550 million; "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit" fourth with $17.2 million; "Frozen" fifth with $11.971 million; "American Hustle" sixth with $10.6 million; "Devil's Due" seventh with $8.5 million; "August: Osage County" eighth with $7.592 million; "The Wolf of Wall Street" ninth with $7.5 million.

"Saving Mr. Banks" was 10th with $4.147 million.
