BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 10 (UPI) --
Actor Chris Hemsworth
is to help announce the nominations for the 86th Academy Awards Thursday in Beverly Hills, Calif., organizers announced.
The "Thor" and "The Avengers" star will join Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs in reading the names of the lucky nominees at the academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
Winners of the awards will be announced March 2 during a ceremony to air live on ABC.
Ellen DeGeneres is to serve as host of the prize presentation.
