'Despicable Me 2' tops U.S. DVD and Blu-ray chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- The animated adventure "Despicable Me 2" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States,

Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the roster for the week ending Dec. 15 is "Fast & Furious 6," followed by "The Wolverine" at No. 3, "Turbo" at No. 4 and "Monsters University" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Smurfs 2" at No. 6, "Man of Steel" at No. 7, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" at No. 8, "Disney's Planes" at No. 9 and "Red 2" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Dec. 14 is "Man of Steel."

"The Heat" is No. 2, "Red 2" is No. 3, "The Internship" is No. 4, "White House Down" is No. 5, "R.I.P.D." is No. 6, "The Smurfs 2" is No. 7, "Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" is No. 8, "Grown Ups 2" is No. 9 and "Turbo" is No. 10.
