NEW YORK, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- A faux movie trailer called "Love Actually 2" shows what the original film's stars have been doing since the British Christmas comedy debuted a decade ago.

The clip has been seen about 170,000 times since it was posted by Official Comedy on YouTube this week.

It shows stars such Andrew Lincoln, Liam Neeson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Martin Freeman, Billy Nighy, Keira Knightley, Thomas Sangster and Colin Firth in scenes from "Love Actually," as well as their respective other projects "The Walking Dead," "Taken," "Children of Men," "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," "Shaun of the Dead," "Domino," "Game of Thrones" and "The King's Speech."

The video also features "Love Actually" cast members Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson as their characters from the "Harry Potter" film franchise.

"I am very amused and alarmed by how famous the cast of 'Love Actually' have become because that movie was, in a way, deliberately cast with some not famous people and some famous people," "Love Actually" writer-director Richard Curtis told United Press International in New York recently.

"The fact that Martin Freeman is now in 'The Hobbit,' and Keira Knightley has become so famous. Andrew is in 'The Walking Dead' and even the little boy is in 'Game of Thrones.' That's quite odd. I think if you try to find good actors, the chances that they'll go on and do well, do go up."

Curtis went on to say he was surprised to find "Love Actually" -- a film about various London couples whose lives intersect in the weeks before Christmas -- has become a holiday classic.

"It wasn't originally a Christmas movie and then I thought, 'I love Christmas and I'll make it about Christmas!' And then the idea that people actually watch it at Christmas consistently was not something we thought about, so that is like a pleasant gift."

A 10th anniversary edition of "Love Actually" was recently released on DVD and Blu-ray. Curtis' latest film "About Time" is set for home-video release next month.
