'Planes' tops U.S. DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- The animated family picture "Disney's Planes" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the sales roster for the week ending Nov. 24 is "We're the Millers," followed by "2 Guns" at No. 3, "Man of Steel" at No. 4 and "Turbo" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Monsters University" at No. 6, "The World's End" at No. 7, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" at No. 8, "Grown Ups 2" at No. 9 and "The Heat" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Nov. 23 is "The Heat."

"Grown Ups 2" is No. 2, "White House Down" is No. 3, "Pacific Rim" is No. 4, "The Internship" is No. 5, "The Hangover Part III" is No. 6, "The Conjuring" is No. 7, "Monsters University" is No. 8, "The Croods" is No. 9 and "The Purge" is No. 10.
