'Monsters University' tops DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- The animated family flick "Monsters University" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending Nov. 10 is "Grown Ups 2," followed by "White House Down" at No. 3, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" at No. 4 and "The Heat" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "R.I.P.D." at No. 6, "Pacific Rim" at No. 7, "The Croods" at No. 8, "The Little Mermaid -- Diamond Edition" at No. 9 and "The Conjuring" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Nov. 9 is "White House Down."

"Grown Ups 2" is No. 2, "Monsters University" is No. 3, "The Hangover Part III" is No. 4, "The Croods" is No. 5, "The Purge" is No. 6, "After Earth" is No. 7, "This is the End" is No. 8, "World War Z" is No. 9 and "Iron Man 3" is No. 10.
