LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- The Producers Guild of America says it plans to present an award to James Bond film franchise producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.

The EON Productions bosses will receive the 2014 David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Motion Pictures at the 25th annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony Jan. 19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

"We're honored to be associated with the legendary David O. Selznick and delighted to be receiving this award along with its previous recipients," Wilson and Broccoli said in a statement Wednesday.

"Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are the driving force behind one of the most cherished franchises in the history of film," said PGA Awards Co-Chairs Lori McCreary and Michael De Luca.

"Thanks to the consistency and steadfastness of their creative vision, generations of moviegoers have been able to share the adventures of one of our iconic heroes. We look forward to their continuing to bring thrilling exploits and cinematic masterpieces to audiences worldwide, and we are delighted to honor them with this year's David O. Selznick Achievement Award."
