'Hangover III' tops DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- The R-rated comedy "The Hangover III," starring Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms, is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak reported.

Coming in at No. 2 on the sales roster for the week that ended Oct. 13 is "The Croods," followed by "The Little Mermaid -- Diamond Edition" at No. 3, "After Earth" at No. 4 and "Iron Man 3" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Purge" at No. 6, "This is the End" at No. 7, "World War Z" at No. 8, "Monster High: 13 Wishes" at No. 9 and "American Horror Story: Asylum" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Oct. 12 is "This is the End."

"Iron Man 3" is No. 2, "After Earth" is No. 3, "World War Z" is No. 4, "The Great Gatsby" is No. 5, "The Frozen Ground" is No. 6, "Now You See Me" is No. 7, "Epic" is No. 8, "Redemption" is No. 9 and "Star Trek Into Darkness" is No. 10.
