Burton, Keaton in talks for 'Beetlejuice' sequel

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Director Tim Burton and actor Michael Keaton are in talks to make a sequel to the 1988 paranormal comedy "Beetlejuice," Hollywood's Variety reported.

Seth Grahame-Smith wrote a script for the follow-up and will produce with his partner David Katzenberg through their KatzSmith Productions company, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said Monday.

Burton and Grahame-Smith previously collaborated on "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and "Dark Shadows."
