LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 (UPI) -- Australian actor Paul Hogan's wife Linda has filed for divorce after 23 years of marriage, TMZ reported Thursday.

Linda Hogan, 51, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason why the couple separated last month and plan to divorce.

She went by Linda Kozlowski when she acted in her husband's 1980s comedies -- "Crocodile Dundee" and "Crocodile Dundee II."

She has requested spousal support, the restoration of her maiden name and joint legal and physical custody of the couple's 15-year-old son, Chance.

Paul Hogan is 74.
