'Iron Man 3' tops DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- "Iron Man 3," starring Robert Downey Jr. as the titular superhero, is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the sales roster for the week that ended Sept. 29 was "World War Z," followed by "Star Trek Into Darkness" at No. 3, "The Big Bang Theory" at No. 4 and "Now You See Me" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Redemption" at No. 6, "The Great Gatsby" at No. 7, "Epic" at No. 8, "Modern Family: The Complete Fourth Season" at No. 9 and "The Walking Dead: Season 3" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week that ended Sept. 28 is "World War Z."

"Iron Man 3" was No. 2, "The Great Gatsby" was No. 3, "Now You See Me" was No. 4, "Star Trek Into Darkness" was No. 5, "Oblivion" was No. 6, "Epic" was No. 7, "Pain & Gain" was No. 8, "Olympus Has Fallen" was No. 9 and "Redemption" was No. 10.
