Bonham Carter spokeswoman dismisses cheating claims

LONDON, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- A spokeswoman for Helena Bonham Carter has dismissed rumors that the actress' partner, film director Tim Burton, cheated on her.

Burton was seen in London Sept. 27 with an unidentified blonde woman and later, pictures of the two embracing were published by media outlets worldwide, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Bonham Carter's spokeswoman said Friday Burton was actually out with a group of friends colleagues and family members and the photos did not accurately portray the scenario.

"It's just nonsense," the spokeswoman said. "It was a goodbye peck on the cheek."

The spokeswoman said the rumors were "really tough" for Bonham Carter and Burton's two children, Billy, 10, and Nell, 5, to hear.
