NEW YORK, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- Mia Farrow's daughter Dylan maintains her allegations her adopted father, famed New York filmmaker Woody Allen, molested her as a child.

Dylan told her mother when she was 7, in 1992, Allen had touched her inappropriately. Mia videotaped Dylan speaking about the abuse and submitted the footage to authorities, however, a subsequent court case was eventually dropped to spare the girl from having to testify in court, Fox News said Thursday.

"I'm scared of him, his image," Dylan told Vanity Fair, referring to Allen, now 77, in an interview for the November issue of the magazine.

"I have never been asked to testify. If I could talk to the 7-year-old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify," she said. "There's a lot I don't remember, but what happened in the attic I remember. I remember what I was wearing and what I wasn't wearing. The things making me uncomfortable were making me think I was a bad kid, because I didn't want to do what my elder told me to do... I was cracking. I had to say something. I was 7. I was doing it because I was scared. I wanted it to stop."

She went on to say at the time she didn't understand the behavior wasn't "how fathers treated their daughters. This was normal interaction, and I was not normal for feeling uncomfortable about it."

Allen's lawyer told the magazine the director still denies the allegations of sexual abuse.

Mia Farrow and Woody Allen began their romance in 1980, but they never married. Their relationship ended in 1992 when Mia discovered Allen had been having sex with Soon-Yi Previn, Farrow's adopted daughter from her previous marriage to Andre Previn. Allen married Previn, who is now in her 40s, in 1997.
