LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Leonardo DiCaprio is to produce and possibly star in the film adaptation of "Wilson," A. Scott Berg's biography of U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, Variety said.

No director is attached to the project yet, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said.

DiCaprio previously played two other U.S. historic figures -- FBI chief J. Edgar Hoover in the 2011′s "J. Edgar" and aviator-movie producer Howard Hughes in 2004's "The Aviator."

Berg won a Pulitzer Prize for "Lindbergh," his 1998 biography of aviator Charles Lindbergh.
