CAPRAROLA, Italy, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- British director Guy Ritchie is filming scenes for "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." at the Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, Italy, Italian news agency ANSA reported.

The film is an adaptation of the Cold War television series of the same name about U.S. and Russian agents forced to work together as part of the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, ANSA said.

Hugh Grant has been tapped to star in the film.

Ritchie previously directed "Sherlock Holmes," starring Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr., "Revolver," and "Snatch."

The Palazzo Farnese was previously featured in Martin Scorcese's "The Godfather" series.

Filming is scheduled to take place between Sept. 24 and Oct. 13.
