Two more adult film actors test positive for HIV

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Two more U.S. adult film actors tested positive for HIV, prompting the Free Speech Coalition to call for a second moratorium on porn production.

An adult film actor who goes by the name of Rod Daily told the Los Angeles Daily News Tuesday he tested positive for HIV. He said he had been romantically linked to Cameron Bay, the actress whose positive test for HIV last month caused the Free Speech Coalition to impose a one-week moratorium on filming.

The moratorium was lifted Aug. 28.

A third actor, whose name was not reported, has tested positive for HIV, the coalition told the Los Angeles Times.

The coalition said Friday a second moratorium on adult film shooting should be put in place.

"While we don't have evidence to suggest an on set transmission as opposed to a transmission from non-industry (off-camera) related activity, we are taking every measure to determine the source and to protect the performer pool," the coalition said in the statement.
