LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- "Lee Daniels' The Butler" was the No. 1 movie in the United States for a third weekend, box office receipts show.

The film came in second to "One Direction: This Is Us" for the first three days of the four-day Labor Day holiday weekend, but "The Butler" ultimately won the top spot after a boost Monday, which pushed "One Direction" to second place.

Coming in at No. 3 was "We're the Millers," followed by "Planes 3D" at No. 4 and "Instructions Not Included" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top 10 for the long weekend are "Elysium" at No. 6, "The Mortal Instruments" at No. 7, "The World's End" at No. 8, "Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters 3D" at No. 9 and "Getaway" at No. 10.
