LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam are to play Anastasia and Christian in Hollywood's film version of "Fifty Shades of Grey," author E.L. James announced.

"Good moaning all. Hold on to your hats..." the author of the erotic best-seller tweeted Monday. "I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey."

"So... Christian..." she added. "The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey."

Johnson is the 23-year-old daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, and step-daughter of Antonio Banderas. She will soon be seen in the films "Cymbeline" and "Need For Speed." Her small-screen credits include "Ben and Kate."

Hunnam, 33, is best known for his work on TV's "Sons of Anarchy," as well as in the film "Pacific Rim."
