LOS ANGELES, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- "Star Trek Into the Darkness: and "World War Z" are being re-released in select U.S. theaters as a double feature, Paramount Pictures announced.

The summer science-fiction blockbusters will be screened together at AMC Theatres, Carmike Cinemas, Marcus Theatres, Regal Cinemas and other participating theaters in RealD 3D and 2D, starting Friday and continuing through Sept. 5.

"The double feature allows fans to relive the excitement of two of the summer's biggest hit films for one ticket price," Paramount said in a news release Tuesday.
