Cassel and Bellucci divorcing after 14 years of marriage

LONDON, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- European film stars Vincent Cassel and Monica Bellucci have separated and plan to divorce, Sky News reported Tuesday.

The French actor and Italian actress have been together 17 years, married for 14 and have two daughters -- Deva, 8, and Leonie, 3.

People.com said both of their representatives confirmed the breakup, with Cassel's saying the separation is "by mutual agreement."

No reason was given for the surprise split.
