'Olympus Has Fallen' tops DVD sales and rental charts

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- The White House thriller "Olympus Has Fallen" is the top-selling DVD and No. 1 rental in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending Aug. 18 is "Oblivion," followed by "GI Joe: Retaliation" at No. 3, "Once Upon a Time: The Complete 2nd Season" at No. 4 and "The Big Wedding" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Mud" at No. 6, "Despicable Me" at No. 7, "Duck Dynasty: Season 3" at No. 8, "42" at No. 9 and "The Place Beyond the Pines" at No. 10.

The No. 2 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Aug. 17 is "Mud."

"Admission" is No. 3, "GI Joe: Retaliation" is No. 4, "42" is No. 5, "Identity Thief" is No. 6, "The Big Wedding" is No. 7, "Bullet to the Head" is No. 8, "Jack the Giant Slayer" at No. 9 and "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" at No. 10.
