Evan Rachel Wood gives birth to a son

LOS ANGELES, July 30 (UPI) -- Evan Rachel Wood's publicist says the U.S. actress has given birth to her first child, a son.

Wood, 25, married British actor Jamie Bell, 27, last October.

"Parents and baby are all doing well," Wood's representative told People.com Monday, adding the couple's new son is "beautiful."

The child's name and birth date were not immediately announced.
