NEW YORK, July 10 (UPI) -- BBC Worldwide says "Born to Royalty," its documentary about being a child in the British royal family, is to open in U.S. theaters next week.

Narrated by "Downton Abbey" star Hugh Bonneville, the film will begin its limited engagement July 19.

"I am very honored to be a producer on such an important documentary -- 'Born to Royalty' -- and be able to bring this tale to the American audience," Soumya Sriraman, executive vice president of licensing and home entertainment for BBC Worldwide, said in a statement Tuesday. "I join the rest of America in my fascination with the royal family, but this film is more than just a documentary about the royals -- it is a look at how parenting continues to evolve with every generation."

"To work on such a unique film about royal babies, with its touching and revealing human stories, has been very exciting and an immense privilege," said the film's executive producer Lucy McDowell.
