'Oz the Great and Powerful' tops U.S. DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, June 24 (UPI) -- The "Wizard of Oz" prequel "Oz the Great and Powerful" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending June 16 is "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters," followed by "Snitch" at No. 3, "A Good Day to Die Hard" at No. 4 and "Identity Thief" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Warm Bodies" at No. 6, "Escape From Planet Earth" at No. 7, "True Blood: The Complete Fifth Season" at No. 8, "Jack Reacher" at No. 9 and "Breaking Bad: The Fifth Season" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended June 15 is "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters."

"Oz the Great and Powerful" is No. 2, "Cloud Atlas" is No. 3, "Snitch" is No. 4, "Warm Bodies" is No. 5, "Escape From Planet Earth" is No. 6, "Safe Haven" is No. 7, "Mama" is No. 8, "Gangster Squad" is No. 9 and "Parker" is No. 10.
