'Jurassic Park 4' to open in 2015

June 19, 2013 at 10:43 AM

LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- The release date for Hollywood's dinosaur-themed action film "Jurassic Park 4" has been changed from June 2014 to sometime in 2015, Variety.com reported.

Universal Pictures changed the date because too many other movies will be coming out next summer and the studio doesn't want "JP4" to get lost in the shuffle, the report said.

Also, work is still being done on the script.

Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two films in the franchise, is executive producer of the fourth installment, which is being directed by Colin Trevorrow.
