'Identity Thief' tops DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, June 17 (UPI) -- The Melissa McCarthy-Jason Bateman comedy "Identity Thief" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending June 9 is "A Good Day to Die Hard," followed by "Warm Bodies" at No. 3, "Escape From Planet Earth" at No. 4 and "Breaking Bad: The Fifth Season" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "True Blood: The Complete Fifth Season" at No. 6, "Safe Haven" at No. 7, "12 Rounds 2: Reloaded" at No. 8, "The Last Stand" at No. 9 and "Falling Skies: The Complete Second Season" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended June 8 is "Warm Bodies."

"Mama" is No. 2, "Broken City" is No. 3, "Gangster Squad" is No. 4, "Parker" is No. 5, "Jack Reacher" is No. 6, "The Last Stand" is No. 7, "Escape From Planet Earth" is No. 8, "Silver Linings Playbook" is No. 9 and "Safe Haven" is No. 10.
