Production starts on 'Think Like a Man Too'

LOS ANGELES, May 28 (UPI) -- Production has begun on "Think Like a Man Too," the sequel to the hit 2012 U.S. comedy "Think Like a Man," Screen Gems announced Tuesday.

Starring La La Anthony, Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence J, Jenifer Lewis, Romany Malco, Gary Owen and Gabrielle Union, the films were inspired by comedian and talk-show host Steve Harvey's book "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man."

"Think Like a Man Too" follows several couples to Las Vegas for a wedding, but "plans for a romantic weekend go awry when their various misadventures get them into some compromising situations that threaten to derail the big event," a synopsis said.

Adam Brody, Wendi McLendon-Covey and David Walton join the cast this time around, while Tim Story returns to direct the sequel after helming the first flcik.

"We're excited to follow these beloved characters into the next chapter. The first movie was about our couples coming together. This one is a fun romp which explores whether these relationships can survive against the backdrop of Vegas," producer Will Packer said in a statement Tuesday.

The film is scheduled for release on June 20, 2014.
