'Safe Haven' tops DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, May 20 (UPI) -- The romantic drama "Safe Haven" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States while "Silver Linings Playbook" tops the rentals, Rentrak said Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending May 12 is "Jack Reacher," followed by "Mama" at No. 3, "Silver Linings Playbook" at No. 4 and "Django Unchained" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Guilt Trip" at No. 6, "The Bible" miniseries at No. 7, "Broken City" at No. 8, "Fringe: The Complete Fifth and Final Season" at No. 9 and "The Avengers" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended May 11 is "Silver Linings Playbook."

"Jack Reacher" is No. 2, "The Guilt Trip" is No. 3, "Django Unchained" is No. 4, "This Is 40" is No. 5,

"A Haunted House" is No. 6, "Life of Pi" is No. 7, "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" is No. 8, "Parental Guidance" is No. 9 and "The Impossible" is No. 10.
