"C.O.G." debuted at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and will be screened July 11 at the Opening Night Gala of the 31st Outfest film festival at Los Angeles' Orpheum Theatre, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

The film is based on a short story by Sedaris and was written and directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez. "C.O.G." stars Jonathon Groff, Denis O'Hare, Corey Stoll, Dean Stockwell and Casey Wilson.

Outfest is the United States' leading LGBT film festival and the oldest one in Los Angeles. It will be held July 11-21.
