Lily Collins eyes role in 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies'

LOS ANGELES, May 6 (UPI) -- British actress Lily Collins is in talks to star in the literary horror flick "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," Variety reported.

Collins, known for her work in "The Blind Side" and "Mirror, Mirror," is up for the role of heroine Elizabeth Bennet in "Zombies."

"Igby Goes Down" and "Charlie St. Cloud" director Burr Steers is to direct the big-screen adaptation of Seth Grahame Smith's popular book, which injects the legions of the undead into Jane Austen's classic 19th century romance, Variety said.
