Colin Firth, Emma Stone to star in Woody Allen's next film

NEW YORK, May 6 (UPI) -- Colin Firth and Emma Stone are heading to France this summer to star in filmmaker Woody Allen's new, untitled comedy, producers announced.

The Gravier Productions film is produced by Allen's longtime associates, Letty Aronson and Stephen Tenenbaum. This latest film will mark Allen's second time shooting in France after "Midnight in Paris" and will be his eighth movie set in Europe.

Firth won an Oscar for his performance in "The King's Speech." His other film credits include "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy," "Easy Virtue," "Love Actually," "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "Bridget Jones' Diary."

Stone has starred in "The Croods," "Gangster Squad," "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Crazy, Stupid Love."
