BURBANK, Calif., April 16 (UPI) -- Sibling filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski have begun shooting their science-fiction epic "Jupiter Ascending" at England's Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.

The film stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. Production began April 2 in England and is expected to wrap in June, before moving to Chicago, the studio said.

"From the streets of Chicago to far-flung galaxies whirling through space, 'Jupiter Ascending' was conceived and written by the Wachowskis, who are also directing," Warner Bros. said in a news release Monday. "Jupiter Jones was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine, a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along -- her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos."

The cast includes Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D'Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith.

Among the Wachowskis' previous movies are "Cloud Atlas," "Speed Racer" and "The Matrix" trilogy.
