'Hobbit' tops DVD sales chart; 'Argo' is No. 1 rental

LOS ANGELES, April 1 (UPI) -- The fantasy flick "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending March 24 is "Les Miserables," followed by "Zero Dark Thirty" at No. 3, "Rise of the Guardians" at No. 4 and "Life of Pi" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Wreck-It Ralph" at No. 6, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" at No. 7, "This is 40" at No. 8, "Game of Thrones: The Complete Second Season" at No. 9 and "Red Dawn" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended March 23 is "Argo."

"Zero Dark Thirty" is No. 2, "Skyfall" is No. 3, "Rise of the Guardians" is No. 4, "Wreck-It Ralph" is No. 5, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" is No. 6, "Taken 2" is No. 7, "Playing For Keeps" is No. 8, "End of Watch" is No. 9 and "Flight" is No. 10.
