BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 25 (UPI) -- Hollywood's Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said Monday the 86th annual Oscars telecast will air in March next year.

The prize presentation for excellence in cinema is traditionally held in February. By moving it to March 2, 2014, the show's producers will avoid conflicting with coverage of the Winter Olympics.
