Neeson, Travolta, McCarthy to be Oscar presenters

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Salma Hayek Pinault, Melissa McCarthy, Liam Neeson and John Travolta are to help hand out Oscars at Sunday's ceremony in Los Angeles.

Their involvement in the telecast was announced Monday by producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

All four stars are previous Oscar nominees.

Hayek Pinault earned her nod for her performance in "Frida," McCarthy for "Bridesmaids," Neeson for "Schindler's List," and Travolta for "Saturday Night Fever" and "Pulp Fiction."

Seth MacFarlane is to serve as host of this year's Oscars show, which will honor the best in film for 2012.
