'Hotel Transylvania' tops DVD sales and rental charts

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Adam Sandler's animated monster flick "Hotel Transylvania" is the top-selling DVD and No. 1 rental in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending Feb. 3 is "Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey Season 3," followed by "Taken 2" at No. 3, "Paranormal Activity 4" at No. 4 and "End of Watch" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Seven Psychopaths" at No. 6, "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2" at No. 7, "Pitch Perfect" at No. 8, "The Cold Light of Day" at No. 9 and "Frankenweenie" at No. 10.

The No. 2 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Feb. 2 is "Ted."

"Seven Psychopaths" is No. 3, "Looper" is No. 4, "The Bourne Legacy" is No. 5, "Paranormal Activity 4" is No. 6, "Pitch Perfect" is No. 7, "Ice Age: Continental Drift" is No. 8, "The Dark Knight Rises" is No. 9 and "Trouble with the Curve" is No. 10.
