Aniston signs on to Bogdanovich comedy

BERLIN, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Jennifer Aniston joins Owen Wilson, Cybil Shepherd and Eugene Levy in Peter Bogdanovich's film "She's Funny That Way," The Hollywood Reporter said.

Bogdanovich and Louise Stratten wrote the script for "She's Funny That Way," which is about a married Broadway director (Wilson) who falls for and helps a prostitute who becomes an actress, the trade publication reported Sunday.

The announcement was made during the 2013 Berlin Film Festival.

Most of the movie will be shot in New York.

Aniston will portray a therapist whose mother is in a rehabilitation facility for alcoholism, the Reporter said.
