Liam Neeson's 'Taken 2' tops DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Liam Neeson's Istanbul-set thriller "Taken 2" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week that ended Jan. 20 is "The Possession," followed by "Pitch Perfect" at No. 3, "Frankenweenie" at No. 4 and "Dredd" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Ted" at No. 6, "Looper" at No. 7, "House at the End of the Street" at No. 8, "The Dark Knight Rises" at No. 9 and "Ice Age: Continental Drift" at No. 10.

"Ted" is the No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Jan. 19.

"Looper" is No. 2, "The Bourne Legacy" is No. 3,

"The Dark Knight Rises" is No. 4, "Ice Age: Continental Drift" is No. 5, "Total Recall" is No. 6, "Trouble with the Curve" is No. 7, "Dredd" is No. 8,

"Pitch Perfect" is No. 9 and "The Watch" is No. 10.
