Poll: Denzel Washington voted America's Favorite Movie Star

NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- "Flight" Oscar nominee Denzel Washington was voted America's Favorite Movie Star in a Harris poll, results indicated.

Coming in at No. 2 was Clint Eastwood, followed by Tom Hanks at No. 3, and Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt tied at No. 4.

Rounding out the top tier are the late John Wayne at No. 6, George Clooney at No. 7, Harrison Ford at No. 8, Meryl Streep at No. 9 and Matt Damon at No. 10.

Harris Interactive said 2,141 adults were surveyed online from Dec. 12-18 for the poll.
