Bruce Willis' 'Looper' tops DVD sales, rental charts

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- The Bruce Willis-Joseph Gordon-Levitt sci-fi adventure "Looper" is the top-selling DVD and No. 1 rental in the United States, Rentrak said Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending Jan. 6 is "Ted," followed by "Pitch Perfect" at No. 3, "The Dark Knight Rises" at No. 4 and "Justified: The Complete Third Season" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Resident Evil: Retribution" at No. 6, "Total Recall" at No. 7, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" at No. 8, "The Bourne Legacy" at No. 9 and "Brave" at No. 10.

The No. 2 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Jan. 5 is "The Dark Knight Rises."

"Total Recall" is No. 3, "Trouble with the Curve" is No. 4, "The Watch" is No. 5, "Men in Black 3" is No. 6, "Resident Evil: Retribution" is No. 7, "Premium Rush" is No. 8, "ParaNorman" is No. 9 and "Hope Springs" is No. 10.
