'Brave' tops DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- The Celtic animated adventure "Brave" is the top-selling DVD in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ending Dec. 2 is "Men in Black 3," followed by "ParaNorman" at No. 3, "Lawless" at No. 4 and "The Expendables 2" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Bond 50: Celebrating Five Decades of Bond 007" at No. 6, "The Amazing Spider-Man" at No. 7, "Marvel's The Avengers" at No. 8, "Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups" at No. 9 and "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" at No. 10.

The top DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Dec. 1 is "The Expendables 2."

"The Campaign" is No. 2, "Brave" is No. 3, "The Amazing Spider-Man" is No. 4, "Men in Black 3" is No. 5, "Lawless" is No. 6, "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" is No. 7, "Prometheus" is No. 8, "Arthur Christmas" is No. 9 and "Marvel's The Avengers" is No. 10.
