'Brave' tops DVD sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- The animated Celtic adventure "Brave" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak reported Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the latest DVD and Blu-ray sales chart was "The Expendables 2," followed by "Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups" at No. 3, "Disney Fairies: Secret of the Wings" at No. 4 and "The Avengers" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "The Amazing Spider-Man" at No. 6, "Cinderella" at No. 7, "The Hunger Games" at No. 8, "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" at No. 9 and "Savages" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental was "The Amazing Spider-Man."

"The Expendables 2" was No. 2, "The Campaign" No. 3, "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" No. 4, "Brave" No. 5, "Prometheus" No. 6, "Marvel's The Avengers" No. 7, "That's My Boy" No. 8, "Magic Mike" No. 9 and "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" No. 10.
