Meyer a maybe on more Twilight books

HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Stephenie Meyer said she knows how the Twilight saga plays out after the fourth and currently final book, but won't commit to writing more books in the series.

In a news conference for the final film in the adapted series, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2," she said she's not ruling out the possibility of writing more Twilight books, Entertainment Weekly reported Friday.

"I planned out where it would go for a couple more books," she said.

"So, I knew exactly what would happen," she said, referring to the storyline of Jake -- a werewolf -- and Renesmee -- the half-vampire, half-human daughter of lead characters Edward and Bella.

"There are other characters who I think would have a lot of voice in those coming stories," Meyer added.

"I'm not going to do it today, but I don't know how I'm going to feel in five years."

Meyer said she's also not too keen on giving up the writes to the Twilight story, handing over the characters to another author to continue the series.

"It's gonna be a hard thing," she said. "I'm going to be the same when my kids grow up and go to college, I'm a hands on mom, and these characters really do feel like my kids."
