LOS ANGELES, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- A crew member working on the Los Angeles set of the movie "The Lone Ranger" has drowned, TMZ reported Friday.

The celebrity news website said the unidentified diver was working in a tank when something went wrong.

He was in full cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived and transported him by helicopter to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The man's name, age and official job title were not immediately reported.

TMZ said the film's producers had not responded to its request for a comment.
