LONDON, Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Film director Richard Linklater says he has finished shooting "After Midnight," a second sequel to his 1995 Vienna-set romance "Before Sunrise."

"After Midnight" is the follow-up to the 2004 movie "Before Sunset," which took place in Paris.

All three films star Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy as Jesse and Celine, a couple with fantastic chemistry who can't seem to get the timing right.

"It's great to be back together again, this time in beautiful Greece to revisit the lives of Celine and Jesse nine years after Jesse was about to miss his flight," Linklater said in a statement to the BBC.

No other details about the film's plot or release date were immediately available.
