HOLLYWOOD, Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Actress Isla Fisher said her friends always assumed she'd done cocaine prior to her asking for help preparing for a role as a party girl in "Bachelorette."

The actress plays a drug user in her upcoming comedy, but said she needed a little help preparing for the role because she had never tried cocaine, E! News reported Friday.

"It's hilarious for me because I've never done coke," Fisher, 36, said at Thursday's premiere of the movie. "When I got the job, I was like, 'How am I going to wing this? I don't have any experience.'"

"I asked a few friends what it's like being on coke and they said, 'We thought you were always on coke!' It turns out my personality, because I speak so quickly, people always thought I was doing it! I've never even seen it.

"It was a relief to know that it wasn't going to be as much of stretch as I had anticipated."
