BAJA, Mexico, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Shooting wrapped this week at Baja Studios in Rosarito, Mexico, on "All is Lost," a thriller starring Robert Redford, producers announced.

The film is a collaboration of Lionsgate, Roadside Attractions and writer/director J.C. Chandor, whose previous credits include the Oscar-nominated drama "Margin Call."

Chandor wrote and directed "All is Lost," and Redford stars in a solo performance of a man "lost at sea and his battle against the elements to stay alive," a synopsis said.

Before The Door Pictures' Neal Dodson and Washington Square Films' Anna Gerb are producing the movie.

"After an intense two months of shooting on the water, we're headed home and have finished production on schedule," Dodson and Gerb said in a joint statement Tuesday. "J.C. is making an audacious film with a brave performance at its center."

Redford, 75, is a two-time Oscar winner. His movies include "Barefoot in the Park," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Way We Were," "Ordinary People," "The Sting," "The Natural" and "All the President's Men."
