LOS ANGELES, July 17 (UPI) -- Dennis Quaid and his wife, Kimberly, celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in Bora Bora two months after halting their divorce plans, UsMagazine.com said.

The couple wed July 4, 2004, and have 4-year-old twins, a son and daughter. Kimberly filed for divorce from Dennis in March, but by the end of April withdrew the legal papers.

UsMagazine.com said Tuesday the reconciled couple recently went on vacation at Bora Bora's Hilton Bora Bora Nui and stayed in the 3,000-square-foot, $5,000 a night Presidential Villa.

"Dennis had been to Bora Bora before but it was my first time and I have never seen such a breathtaking sight," UsMagazine.com said Kimberly Quaid wrote to the resort's management. "It was certainly an anniversary to remember."
