'Jump Street' is top-selling DVD

LOS ANGELES, July 12 (UPI) -- The big-screen comedy based on the 1980s cop drama "21 Jump Street" is the top-selling DVD and No. 1 rental in the United States, Rentrak said Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending July 8 is "Wrath of the Titans," followed by "Mirror Mirror" at No. 3, "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" at No. 4 and "Act of Valor" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Safe House" at No. 6, "John Carter" at No. 7, "Project X" at No. 8, "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" at No. 9 and "The Artist" at No. 10.

The No. 2 DVD rental for the week ended July 7 is "Wrath of the Titans."

"Mirror Mirror" is No. 3, "Safe House" is No. 4, "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" is No. 5, "Wanderlust" is No. 6, "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" is No. 7, "A Thousand Words" is No. 8, "Project X" is No. 9 and "Seeking Justice" is No. 10, Rentrak said.
