NEW YORK, July 2 (UPI) -- Josh Lucas' publicist says the actor's wife, Jessica, has given birth to their first child, a son, in New York.

People.com said Noah Rev Maurer weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces when he was born Friday.

The "Sweet Home Alabama" star wed the writer last March.
